I watched a handful of videos on youtube regarding SKS trigger jobs. I followed the basic routine of the videos that I saw which is nothing more than pull the sear and grind the end down slightly to shorten reset travel and polish the top friction surface to smooth out the pull a bit. While I did notice a vast improvement in reset travel (taking care NOT to grind it too short and make the gun unsafe)I still have a gritty pull. Is there something else I should be looking at to get a real smooth pull once the trigger bar starts pushing the sear?
I've got 1000 grit sand paper and a grinding stone that I use to deburr and smooth out rough edges.
