Panther Top range outside Murphy

US-64 West toward Copperhill TN.
Turn right on NC-294 toward Hiawassee Dam, and about a mile down is Panther Top road.
Stay on Panther Top until the end, and take the gravel road on the right to the range.
100 yard rifle range, and about 20 yard pistol.

:45:If in the Triad, check out the new Tactical Training Center and its partner range ShootSafeNC at www.triadtacticaltraining.com . It's new but the construction phases are going fast and charter memberships are filling fast.

Triple Target Range in Sophia, just south of High Point. Nice place. Pistol, rifle, skeet and archery.

Just tried out Triple Target Range. Excellent people. In fact from 3pm to 4:30 I had the place to myself. Nice to go check
your target without waiting on anyone else. They will let you bring your own targets as well. Just wish it wasn't
a 45 minute ride but I'll take what I can find. I'll be going back next chance I get.

Fire power in Matthews has an indoor range. It's a nice range if you like indoor ranges.

Devildogs new range :)
When you go there, watch for the mailbox. As soon as you go past it, turn into the woods.
You can get a car in there. It's not quite 4X4 territory. Range is run by Richard and Danny.
If you set a GPS to find this range, The address and the GPS are about 400 yards different.
You will get to the range before the GPS says you will.

I shoot at Sureshot Gunsports, Nice range with excellent facilities, very user friendly and staff are the most pleasant people you can expect to meet. They try to accommodate everyone and all styles of shooting, they even have a 500 yard rifle range.

Gotta get you on the NCGO Map. Top left of the homepage.

Just as an FYI, the plot point on the map for Eastern North Carolina Gun Club & Firing Range, LLC. isn't anywhere close to the range, pretty much clear across town.

The range is off of Arrington Bridge Road > Bill Ln Blvd/NC 581, just to the right of the south end of the Seymour Johnson AFB runway.

It is maddeningly frustrating that between Garner and Goldsboro, there is >nothing< in the way of a public range of any sort. :(

Yeah. The ranges map linked in the first post in this thread shows the mailing address for the range. That map (as I pointed out earlier in this thread) is maintained by the NC Wildlife Resource Commision.

Actual location of ENC range: https://maps.google.com/maps/ms?msid=213755750607679694203.000001133099963f7a76e&msa=0&ll=35.329691,-77.95126&spn=0.095653,0.198269
