Maybe we should set up a group shoot?
What do you guys think?

It could be just a get together and shoot.
people could meet somewhere for Lunch before or after the shoot, only if they wanted to.

Simple, Fun, NCGO, Firearms. Doesn't get better than that. :ncgo:
Excellent Idea! Count me in! :draw::soldier::dualwield::sniper2:................

Maybe i could take 30 guests? Ha Ha. The place is pretty big i'm sure we could bring stuff to set up and have lunch there.
I'm guessing you'd have enough members of the range show to accommodate the guests. I'm there every weekend.

The larger training bay has more than enough room, as well as a covered shelter area, for a get together.

They're very accommodating! I'm there at least once a month. They have an area where they used to have a moving target rig for shotguns?? It's no longer in use. When I go with something to test, they let me have that area all to myself (when it isn't crowded). They let me test whatever I want provided I clean up after myself....sweet deal!! They practically let me camp there.

I was thinking when the warmer weather comes, bringing about 25lbs. of chicken, and posting a challenge...
I'll bring the chicken and my grill. You bring your grill. I think that I may very well be probably able to possible beat you in a cookoff. If you want to challenge the results... a shoot off! Not at each other, but targets!

Yeam me my toys, my boyish charm..............and my smirk and grey hair! :hilarious:

Also take into account we all wouldn't be shooting at the same time.

Some of us do more jawjackin than shooting :D
Ain't that right.....Opsman?!!! :hiding:

Give me 6 wks to recover from the wrist surgery I just had and I'm up for a range day...I'm sure I will be going crazy to shoot something!:draw::NCGO::usa:

Took my new XDS out there today and met Ken for the first time, super guy and a really nice range setup. Enjoyed it so much that I came home to tell my wife that she is the newest member (only because I listed my name first on the member application). Looking forward to taking her out there this weekend and throwing some lead.

ENC Shooting Range

I joined this range due to the scarcity of ranges within driving distance.
I have been a member there a little over a month.
I truely enjoy going there. During the week, it's pretty quiet there and makes for an enjoyable shoot.
I was just wondering who else belongs to this range or uses it and your thoughts on it.

RE: ENC Shooting Range

I'm a member and try to go on Fridays since I'm off at 10-10:30am.
Won't make it this week cause I've got a few other things to take care of on Friday, but maybe next week...

I'm a member and the best time to go is during the week.I don't get out as much since the temps and humidity have increased but will be out more when it cools off some.

RE: ENC Shooting Range

ENC is good to go.
I just wish they had a longer range for long guns.
Wolfpack65 was telling me they were gonna open up the 275 yard soon? If I'm not mistaken.

RE: ENC Shooting Range

I like the place, a variety of areas to shoot, and i can practice draw + fire unlike anywhere else in wayne co. plus i just love shooting that gong at 100 yds! i would've joined already but i'm up in the air with my career at the moment and don't know if i'll be around.

RE: ENC Shooting Range

I'm not a member but go out there frequently. It's a quick little trip from Raleigh. I really like all the plates. $25 for the day is a steal considering I pay 16/hr to shoot indoor pistol only locally.

RE: ENC Shooting Range

Went to the ENC this afternoon and shot my SR40 and my SR45 and i'm confused the last time i shot i shot the 40 pretty good today..Not bad but not like the last time:( The SR45 on the other hand shot great except i had one failure to fire and i tried to shoot it twice and it wouldn't go off ,had a primer strike and then one of the RSO loaded into his Glock and it went off and me being a Ruger guy i didn't like that a bit.:mad: Thats alright at least i know that it wasn't ammo related but i did tell the Glock guy that i got it started for him:facepalm:They told me that half of the Range was flooded on Friday.

I was there last Friday, yep, the Steel Range and the 200yd range was flooded out. The flood was not because of the local rains, it was the dams upstream that let the water out..................
