For me, it's my S&W model 36, Chief's Special, 3", Nickle plated revolver, with the old school slim grips. I have no other handgun that even comes close to the speed I can draw and get hits on a target. I have some high tech full magazined zombie killers, but zombies are slow, they just take a lot of hits.
Until I discovered this I did not carry the Chief. Now I carry it as often as not.
Safety note: Drawing and firing a handgun quickly is dangerous. Most shooting ranges have restrictions on this for that very reason.
