So im trying to find the ebst prices for 9mm, brass.... i checked out ammoseek.com and im seeing alot of results for remanufactured brass from a place selwayarmory. Anyone ever order from there, and also is remanufactured ammo good? I usually just wait for like PSA to have magtech or blazer on sale for 10.99 a box or something with free shipping, but this price is 143.00 for 1k rounds.... advise?

I'm about 600 rounds through my first thousand from Minuteman Munitions made in Greensboro. They sell direct but the price from Outdoor Limited for the same ammo is a few bucks less and he has them in stock at this moment. I've been impressed with the ammo and have had a total of 3 failures to fire so far. If you didn't look at the bottom of the case (where you'll see various brand names), you'd never know they had been remanufactured. I really like the TMJ (total metal jacket) and these are some very nice looking and clean rounds.

You can find them at https://www.outdoorlimited.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=mm9mm124tmj. So far it has been a joy doing business with David at Outdoor Limited but I'm local so I avoid the shipping cost. I like the idea of supporting a Greensboro manufacturer and a High Point reseller.

I just now placed another order with him. If you're looking for cheap 9mm ammo, he sells Remington for $9.49 for 50 rounds. Remington has a rebate this month that saves you $2.50 per box (up to 5 boxes). That brings the price down to $7 per box or $0.14 per round. That is about the same price you'd be paying for the remanufactured you mentioned. As I read it, nothing says multiple individuals in the household can't submit for the rebate. So, my wife and I each placed orders for 5 boxes. Here's the Remington ammo https://www.outdoorlimited.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=l9mm3 and the rebate form https://www.remington.com/sites/default/files/rebate/file/umc_rebate.pdf.

Good luck!

Thank you jeppo, I called them up and they said I could order it and have someone come grab it right away. Just ordered 1k rounds should be delivered to me in an hour or so ;) cant beat that.

I've also used freedom munitions before I loaded my own. Their reman or blem ammo have both functioned flawlessly in my guns.

Before I started reloading, I shot a lot of Freedom Munitions. I did not have any problems until the last batch of 9mm I ordered, the brass would not hold the primers, I had more than one fall out while being chambered. That was the first order that I bought "new" and not reman, with XTP projectiles. All the reman that I bought from them ran fine.

The brass in that bad batch was their own manufactured brass, with "Ammoload" headstamps. It has the internal step, which if I find those (there are several headstamps like that) I toss them out and don't use them to reload.

There is no reason that reloaded ammo can't function as good or even better than "factory". It all comes down to the reloader and how much they pay attention to the process. I've gotten a bad batch of factory ammo before - it happens.

You're more than welcome.

Now I feel responsible. Let me know what you think.
Customer service was super cool and they had it ready when my family member walked in. Thumbs up.... as for the ammo, they were out of the freedom munitions but I got blazer new ammo for the same price basically, 1k rounds for 190 with tax. It does suck that we have to pay tax being its NC, but I too appreciate supporting local business and they will get my money again. Thanks again for the recommendation.
