I would love to get a 6"-1911 set up for the .45 Super.
Plenty of power and a pistol frame I'm familure with.
I find little difference in carrying my 4" or 5" 1911 in my Kydex open bottom holster on my right hip. I imagine a 6" 1911 would work just as well.

I see that Bull Armory makes a 6" 1911. Maybe next year - they all look the same to my wife. - LOL

A viable option with about 800 ft-lb's of ME.
The .45 Super has over a dozen variations in loads going from just under 600 ft.-Lb's of ME, to close to 900 ft-Lb's of ME.
Buffalo Bore has 4 loads of .460 Rowland, all are over 900 ft-lbs.
Their highest .45 Super is 694 ft-lbs.
Their loads tend toward the high end of the safe zone, for whatever it's worth..
