In a nutshell, my reaction, multiple times. I didn't feel like this when the first episode 1 teaser hit either.

I saw the first one in 77 when I was 5. I think I saw it about 12 times. I am at least as excited about this as you are lol. As an aside, if you have a console, Star Wars Battlefront is amazing.

The first Star Wars movie was fantastic. The second was a little disappointing. The 3rd one plane out sucked! The second trilogy was a total waste of film. I hope they have recaptured the fun of the first movie.

The Empire Strikes Back was far better than the first and the third.

 

After the disappointment of the prequels, I'm waiting to see the movie until I find out if it sucks or not. And I'm fully expecting it to suck. Not to mention, every other J.J. Abrams movie has been total crap visually (why are there lens flares everywhere?! And why is this a desirable effect that was added in post?!), and I expect more of the same. I'm expecting some crap like the new Star Trek movies mixed with the Star Wars prequels. I could very well be wrong, but I'm not getting my hopes up.

If it turns out not to be total crap, I probably still won't watch it in the theater though... very few if any movies are worth paying $30+ for just tickets.

 

I can wait for it to come out on Firestick. Is it going to be in 3D?
